We are a world-class, co-ed Catholic high school, in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, providing a quality college preparatory experience for 220 students. At Vincentian Academy, students experience:

Vincentian Academy, founded in 1932 by the Vincentian Sisters of Charity is a world-class, co-ed Catholic high school, in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Students are provided a quality college preparatory experience which includes International Baccalaureate (IB) as the core curriculum in an individualized learning environment. In addition to academics, Vincentian Academy provides moral and social development as well as a strong commitment to Catholic heritage. In 2008 the Vincentian Sisters of Charity merged into the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, making Vincentian Academy a member of the SCN family, www.scnfamily.org.
Our Mission
The mission of Vincentian Academy, a Catholic, International Baccalaureate high school, is to develop enthusiastic and creative lifelong learners and effective leaders in a global community. We will accomplish this by providing a world-class college preparatory education for the mind, heart, and spirit that emphasizes Christian values, service to others, scholarly application of knowledge and the development of critical-thinking skills in a caring, supportive and collaborative learning environment. Legacy of Pride & Scholarship
Vincentian Academy maintains 100% university placement. Students who successfully complete the International Baccalaureate Program are awarded the I.B. Diploma, which may grant advanced standing and/or course credit at colleges and universities. Vincentian Academy students have pass rates well above national and international averages.

Vincentian Parents Association
In October 2007, volunteers from the VPA began to host this website with a goal to provide information that will assist our school families by providing a site that hosts information regarding school events, activities, and opportunities to support our students. www.vavpa.org
